Futugrid has developed an automated software platform connected to Elering to maintain the grid frequency with solar plants. The solar farm will be connected to the Futugrid software via a secure router, the software will receive instructions from Elering to increase or decrease the load on the network and the software will automatically switch the solar farm on or off. For the minutes that the solar park is operated in Elering’s interest, Elering pays an additional significant fee via Futugride.
